“Ms Theron was chosen not only for her natural beauty, but because she epitomises the modern woman; a mix of sensuality and determination, sophistication and down-to-earth attitude, elegance and simplicity,” a spokesperson for Breil commented.

What is it with Theron and watches? Fans might recall the lawsuit slapped on Theron by Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil earlier this year for alleged violation of an endorsement deal. Will Christial Dior still entice Theron despite the multi-million dollar deal with Breil?

Vaseline Makes Hilary Feel ‘Sexy and Girly’

Perhaps Vaseline wants to shed their bland skin and get an image as a swanky cream. Is that why pop sensation and teen fashion queen Hilary Duff is the new face of vaseline?

Even Hilary sheds her heavy make-up to pose for the new ad campaigns. Personally, I love the fresh, dewy look which we rarely get to see. But why would a hip pop diva opt to pose with petroleum jelly? The star expalined to Jared:

“”Skin is a part of you, and you have to be proud of what you have. I feel comfortable in my own skin. Sometimes showing a little is fun. It makes me feel sexy and girly.”

Tina Fey Signs Up for ‘Are You a Cardmember?’

U.S. actress and writer Tina Fey is the new face of American Express’ Are you a Cardmember? advertising campaign.

Tina Fey to promote Amex campaign ‘Are You a Cardmember?’You could perhaps dub it a reality show, since Fey taps into her real life roles as actress, comedian, writer, producer and mother, to portray how American Express’ Fraud Protection benefit program lends a bit of relief and confidence to a typically hectic day.

Under Amex’s Fraud Protection Guarantee, cardmembers are not responsible for unauthorized charges to their Cards, thus instilling confidence while shopping online or off.

“I’m so excited to be a part of the American Express ‘Are you a Cardmember?’ campaign,” said 37-year-old Tina Fey. “It’s pretty impressive when you look at all of the people who have been featured in American Express campaigns before me. Ellen DeGeneres, Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese; quite frankly I’m not sure why they asked me, but I have to say, I think this is more exciting than playing on the US Open … for me, cause I would totally lose.”

The “Are you a Cardmember?” campaign, launched earlier this year, has featured celebrities such as tennis great John McEnroe, professional snowboarder and skateboarder Shaun White and comedian Larry David to demosntrate the benefits and services of being an American Express Cardmember.

Get a Bagful of Fergie

Glamorous pop princess Fergie has moved into the fashion accessory realm launching her own line of handbags called “Fergie for Kipling.”

Fergie for KiplingThe 78-piece collection has three lines and the prices range from $38 to $198.

“Since I got three collections, I wanted to hit on three different facets of my personality, of women’s personalities,” said Fergie. “‘Nice Scout,’ which is a nature girl, trying to be green, that whole thing. The ‘Naughty Scout’ is a little more for the night owl. And the ‘Dutchess’ line, that’s more for the glamour girl; it’s more chic, high-end and mature.

“I wanted to start something I could afford back in the day. I remember I moved back to my mom’s house, eating her food, and it’s not like because I lived there I lose my sense of fashion. I still wanted to look good, but I couldn’t afford high-end stuff. But I still wanted stuff that was good-quality and fashionable.”

The “Nice Scout” line features bags and satchels in earth tones while “Naughty Scout” is rock ‘n’ roll inspired prints with lots of hardware, and “Dutchess” is essentially evening and weekend bags of luxurious fabrics with leather accents.

“I’ve always been interested in expressing myself creatively, and this is another outlet for that,” added Fergie, real name Stacy Ann Ferguson.

She told the New York Post that she designed and helped conceptualize the styles based on things she liked, such as the utility belts she wears when she shops. As for the fabrics, the samples right out of her closet.

The “Fergalicious” singer teamed up with fashion label Kipling for the franchise. “Fergie for Kipling” handbags will be sold at Kipling, Macy’s department stores and other retail outlets this month.
