German supermodel Heidi Klum is the new face of McDonald’s chicken wraps.

The 34-year-old supermodel, actress, TV presenter, fashion designer, television producer and hostess of Project Runway and Germany’s Next Top Model was seen in Munich yesterday advertising McDonald’s chicken wraps and… well, that just about wraps it up.
The mother of three was looking gorgeous as usual, in a matching jacket and pants suit well complemented by a striped white shirt and an easy-on-the-eyes hairdo.
The point here is, how often do you see a Victoria’s Secret model indulging in Big Mac, fries and soda?

Not surprised. Are you? Sharon Stone might have tried to pull back her controversial remarks on the Sichuan earthquake, but that was quite not enough for Dior China to pull off her Dior campaigns.
Dior China said this morning that it’s taking off and recalling all advertisements featuring Stone. Reports say that citizens were ripping down billboards in several locations.
So what was it that Stone said that is causing an uproar in the fashion world? Apparently, it was just this: “I’ve been concerned with how we should deal with the Olympics, because they are not being nice to the Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine.
“And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened and I though, is that karma – when you’re not nice that the bad things happen to you?”
Hmmm… that’s pretty strong, I think. Kinda stuck-up, in the typical basic instinct style, if you know what I mean.
No one has a right to be judgmental about Nature. I don’t think we can, or the right to, decide Nature. She decides us.
And if, and when, a time does arrive when we dictate Nature… I just don’t want to be there.

British actress Gemma Arteron, who plays Agent Fields in the Bond 22 movie “Quantum of Solace”, has been chosen by Avon to launch the new James Bond Franchise signature fragrance ‘Bond Girl 007′.
Anticipated as what will be the biggest global fragrance launch of the year, Bond Girl 007 is created by Firmenich and contains floral notes, warm woods, white peach, orange blossom, jasmine, calypso orchid and freesia.
While “Quantum of Solace” is scheduled for a November 2008, ‘Bond Girl 007′ is thoughtfully set up to hit the retailers a month earlier.
So what does the new 22-year-old Bond babe have to say about this signature perfume?
“I’m thrilled to be working with two such iconic and established brands,” said Gemma Arterton. “The Bond Girl 007 fragrance embodies everything a Bond Girl represents — intelligence, sexiness and confidence.”
Intelligence, sexiness and confidence, huh. Explosive combo there.
Okay, here’s what I think about the name of the perfume. Bond Girl 007. So which kind of girl–or woman–are Avon targeting? I’d eat airline food to find out what they found in their survey. Would the typical customer would be the wanna-be Bond girl yet in her teens or the blissfully married 30’s woman, who’s looking back and wondering what she might have missed out?
What do you think? I’d love to know, so would all my readers.

The stripper pole is said to be basically a raunchy exercise regime, which will “also have women embracing their female prowess.”

Three-time Grammy Award winner Fergie has teamed up with Brown Shoe Co. Inc. to launch her shoe brand set to debut in spring 2009.
Fergie, whose real name is Stacy Ann Ferguson, joins Carlos Santana and Reba McEntire on Brown Shoe’s line-up of celebrity brand partners.

“I have always loved fashion because it’s a great way to express your mood,” Fergie, 33, who’s engaged to actor Josh Duhamel, said. “And I’m definitely a shoe lover. The right pair of shoes can change the feel of an outfit and even change how a woman feels about herself. A woman can wear confidence on her feet with a high stiletto, or slip into weekend comfort with a soft ballet flat.”
“We envision the Fergie consumer as a woman who is chic and fashionable, loves to wear the latest trends and looks for distinctive details when shopping for shoes to add to her already considerable collection — much like Fergie herself,” said Gary Rich, Brown Shoe wholesale president.
Launch plans for Fergie footwear include the Internet and personal appearances. Retailers will be able to see the early designs next month at the Fashion Footwear Association of New York shoe show.

Lately, my keyboard is kicking off fumes whenever I type L-I-N-D-S-A-Y — Lindsay Lohan has been hitting news like it’s out of fashion. Only this time, it’s FOR fashion, for Fornarina, the lifestyle brand from Italy.
Italian lifestyle brand Fornarina is banking that Lilo, who announced her new position at the Fornarina Urban Beauty Show in Paris last week, will help them break into the American market. However, her first campaign will be revealed in the spring of 2009, after Fornarina has opens flagships in London, Paris and New York.
“Lindsay is that very self-confident, dynamic woman, she’s got a lot of attitude,” Scott Ronaldson, managing director of Fornari Retail, told WWD. “That’s what we’re hoping our customer will aspire to.”
