Jennifer Lopez has launched Deseo, her new fragrance for men at Macy’s in New York.
Lopez partnered with pefrumers Jim Krivda and Ellen Molner to come up with Deseo, which means desire, and is said to have notes of bamboo leaves, jasmine, geranium and warm amber.

The actress, singer, record producer, dancer, fashion designer and TV producer, lived up to the glam in a flowing white Fendi gown and Yves Saint Laurent heels at the department store in Herald Square, Manhattan.
Amid cheers of “We love you, J-Lo”, the 390year old Latin bombshell signed autographs and bottles of perfume for fans.
The collection comprises eaux de toilette in two sizes, 1.7 oz. for $45 and 3.4 oz. for $55; a 3.4-oz. aftershave balm, $40, and a 2.4-oz. deodorant, $16. Fans will recall that the singer made her fragrance debut in 2002 with Glow By J.Lo.
I think it’s a great idea that a woman is creating a fragrance for men. I mean, isn’t it so appropriate? Who else but a woman would know what a man loves… or should smell like???

Paris Hilton has teamed up with Parlux this time to launch her latest fragrance: Fairy Dust.
“Do you believe in fairy tales?” asks Paris in the ad showing the 27-year-old hotel heiress spreading her wings as a fairy.

Parlux describes the perfume created by Mane’s Celine Krakower as “an essence of enchantment, a sensual, seductive floral, which is bright, effervescent and inviting.”
“The scent is magical! It’s delicate in the morning, sensual during the day and seductive in the evening. When I wear Fairy Dust, I feel as whimsical and free as a dazzling fairy,” says Paris Hilton.
Fairy Dust is the fifth among Paris Hilton perfumes, after Paris Hilton, Just Me, Heiress and Can can.
The fragrance will sprinkle across US stores mid next month, while the international launch is scheduled for early 2009.

Fashion magazine FHM has featured Hollywood Star Amber Heard topless in its October 2008 issue.
Amber Heard may be little more than a whisper in Hollywood at the moment, but chances are steep that fans will be screaming for more of the 22-year-old hottie after the release the new Judd Apatow / Seth Rogen comedy Pineapple Express.

FHM says the upcoming Texan actress has ‘svelte seductress’ off pat. Hmmm… I’d believe that, no questions asked. And wait for Pineapple Express where she plays Rogen’s girlfriend, as well as her role in the film adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’s book The Informers.
Here you go, guys. Click to see full size images and keep a rag just in case you drool.

Former James Bond star Sir Sean Connery is now licensed to be the man who would be the promoter of designer Louis Vuitton.
French luxury brand Louis Vuitton is obviously trying to cash in on the release of the latest Bond flick “Quantum of Solace” in tapping Connery as the spokeperson for its “core values” campaign.
The 78-year-old Oscar-, Golden Globe-, and BAFTA Award-winning Scottish actor and producer has allegedly posed for photographer Annie Leibovitz for the brand, following in the footsteps of film director Francis Ford Coppola, rocker Keith Richards and former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev, among others.
Sir Connery has repeatedly been named as one of the most attractive men alive due to his rugged good looks.

Other than being Hollywood stars, what do Ryan Gosling, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts, America Ferrera. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kirsten Dunst have in common? They all drive the trendy king of hybrid cars, the Toyota Prius.
Cameron Diaz was probably the first celebrity to endorse the Prius years ago. Later, Leonardo DiCaprio gave the hybrid car a boost with his famous statement that his Toyota Prius was just like any other car, but that he only fills it up once every three weeks.

If my curiosity/interest in following the lifestyles of the rich and the famous (well, that’s why and how this blog was created!) is any indication, celebrity interest in Toyota cars is poised for a massive revival with the latest, trendiest and hottest 2009 models, especially with the third-generation Prius. According to Toyota, it’s going to be a slightly bigger than today’s model with a trio of versions (including the Hybrid X concept exhibited at March’s Geneva Auto Salon). Does it mean the 2009 Prius will be leaner, meaner, greener and cheaper? Most likely.
While the fascination seems to be centered around the hybrid Prius, other 2009 Toyota cars have nevertheless been gaining ground in reviews. The 4Runner, Avalon, Camry, Camry Hybrid, Corolla, FJ Cruiser, Highlander, Highlander Hybrid, Matrix and Rav4 are featuring some great functionalities, specs and trims, and are just a few of the names to reckon with before making a purchase decision.
However, one point here. The fact that the cars are getting better in more ways than one doesn’t necessarily mean they’re getting more expensive. If you’re like me and would give your right arm to be driving the cars the celebrities drive, you’re in for a pleasant surprise — these cars are not unreachable stars. Matter of fact, they’re quite affordable and with the competition around, you may want to visit carconnection.com and check out the terrific range of vehicles. Not to mention getting free price quotes as well!
