Supermodel Natalia Vodinova is coming from Russia with a splash of Shalimar, Guerlain’s new perfume.
“Shalimar is a fragrance to excite and express desire. She who dares to wear it, is asserting her femininity and ultra sensuality. Hers is carnal seduction… ” it says on the Guerlain website. And who else but Natalia can better deliver this concept?
Forbes ranks Vodianova seventh highest-earning model in the world after Gisele Bündchen, Kate Moss, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Carolyn Murphy, estimating her 2007 earnings at $4.5 million.
The 26-year-old mom of three has also represented David Yurman, Louis Vuitton, L’Oreal, Marc Jacobs, Miss Sixty, Pepe Jeans and Calvin Klein’s collection and his fragrance, “Euphoria”.
The sensual video below (with an eerie resemblance to the earlier, highly-controversial, banned commercial of Eva Mendes for Calvin Klein) was shot by renowned lensman Pablo Roversi:
Hot on the heels of launching her collection of equestrian clothing, British glamor model and TV personality Katie Price has launched her new perfume Besotted in London.
Thirty-year-old Price, mum of three, appeared seductive and steamin hot as she posed for photos in London’s trendy Paper Club.
According to sources, Besotted alone will fetch a rather high six-figure number, but, to Katie, also known as Jordan, it may not be a big deal — the Sunday Times Rich List reports she’s worth at least £30 million, all coming from property, book deals, lingerie, jewelry and perfume lines, and better yet, her popularity is rising faster than ever.
Of Besotted, Katie said: “I’m really excited about it as I smelt so many smells to get the scent right – it’s fresh and fruity. I love it.”
Fans will recall that this is the model’s second women’s fragrance — following up on her best-selling Stunning.
World’s best-known-for-worst-temper supermodel Naomi Campbell is lending her magic of her face and body to Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabanna.
Matter of fact, I’ve been waiting to blog this for weeks, so now, at the faintest clue that the deal has been finalized, I dare say that Campbell, 38, has indeed signed $1.85 million deal with D&G.
UK’s Daily Star quotes an insider: “They (Campbell and D&G) have had a relationship that spans decades and now the plan is for Naomi to be their official muse and ambassador.
“She’ll be at the shows and will star in their worldwide advertising campaigns. An absolutely huge deal is on the table.”
I have reason to believe in their ‘relationship’, more so, since Dolce and Gabbana donated a series of exclusive gowns to Campbell’s Fashion for Relief charity show in London last week. The show was organized by Campbell to raise money for The White Ribbon Alliance fund to promote safe childbirth.
We should hear more about the deal since Naomi is meeting with Domenico Dolce, 50, and Stefano Gabbana, 45, at Milan Fashion Week, currently running.
“Sometimes I’m sexy, and sometimes I’m not,” says Hollywood actress Elizabeth Banks tells Women’s Health in its October issue, which incidentally has a celebrity on its cover for the first time.
“Sex is always funny. I don’t find it sexy–I find it really horrifying. But it’s an act that we need. And that need, that desire, is what makes it really funny,” says the 34-year-old cutie. “Every dude is trying to get laid, 24/7, from the time they’re 11 or 12. Everything they do is about trying to get laid, yet they’re maybe way too hairy, they fart, they have tempers. They don’t know what the real situation is, and it’s that struggle that I find really funny. Every man wins the lottery when he gets a woman to love him.”
Banks is starring with Seth Rogen in the Kevin Smith comedy, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, a “romantic comedy” (according to Banks) about two platonic friends who decide to make a quick buck by producing a porn flick. And that’s cool with her husband Max Handelman, to whom she’s married since 2003.
“I don’t think I’m that special, and he definitely doesn’t think I am,” said Banks. “Because no one is that special. I’m not curing cancer; I’m not saving lives. I play make-believe for a living, so let’s not take it too seriously.”
Does she work on her sex appeal? Guess not: “I’m not a fan of plastic surgery,” she says. “Oh, and I’ve never had a wax in my life. Waxing makes no sense to me.”
Rather ironically, Banks is also starring as U.S. First Lady Laura Bush in Oliver Stone’s film on the life of President George W. Bush, W, slated for release next month.
Well, so is Banks sexy or funny? Or both? I have formed my opinion judging from the pictures below. What’s yours? Would you rather be seen with her in Disneyland — or Four Seasons?
Singer, actress, songwriter, and Danity Kane girl Aubrey O’Day shows off her skin barely eight months after appearing nude for Travis Barker clothing line — this time going topless for Complex magazine.
The 24-year-old hottie leaves very little for imagination in the photographs of the latest issue of the magazine, where she talks — if you’re listening, rather than watching — about her club life, her role in Making the Band, what kind of guys she dates, her favorite adult site and more.
“If I have to be ridiculed and called a whore and the party animal and the dumb girl for the rest of my career, I’m OK with that,” Aubrey reveals. “Because I love who I am. You’re going to have to interpret me however you’re going to interpret me.”
