Ukrainian-born model and actress Olga Kurylenko is set to appear in a number of brewer Heineken TV commercials and print ads.
Kurylenko, who plays mysterious agent Camille in upcoming James Bond movie Quantum of Solace, will star in campaigns to be aired in over 40 countries. The ads will feature sets and scenes from the 22nd Bond edition due for release in the UK this Friday and in the US on November 14.

“I am delighted to support Heineken’s global Quantum of Solace marketing campaign,” said Kurylenko in a press release. “Heineken has done a great job in making James Bond, Camille and the world of Bond connect with their iconic international brand.”
The 28-year-old star, who received the certificate of excellence award at the 2006 Brooklyn International Film Festival for her performance in L’Annulaire, has gone on record that she loved stripping in front of her co-star Daniel Craig.
Come to think of it, that’s pretty cool, but is she going to strip for us in Heineken adverts? Worth waiting and watching.
Meanwhile, more of Olga here:

Carlos Santana is all set to launch his line of Fall/Winter ‘08 handbag collection, which the Press calls “the sound of style.”

“As an artist, I am inspired by style, color and passion. I have found that it is wonderful to celebrate those qualities – which I express in my music – through fashion. Like music, that’s something that almost everyone can relate to,” explains Santana.
The handbag line, which consists of six different groups, is designed with the Carlos by Carlos Santana shoe collection in mind, allowing the consumer to cross merchandise with ease — though you can’t miss the eclectic look and feel of his vintage album covers.
For each handbag sold, 10% of Carlos Santana’s profits will be donated to The Milagro Foundation (milagrofoundation.org), established by the rocker a decade ago. The Foundation’s grants to institutions that work with children around the world comes from its faith that life is a miracle (milagro) and that children everywhere deserve the opportunity to lead educated, safe, healthy and creative lives.
In just about three weeks, the Carlos by Carlos Santana handbag collection will be available in select Macy’s West doors.

Italian actress and fashion model Monica Bellucci will appear in campaigns for Dior’s created-for-Valentine’s-Day perfume Hypnotic Poison.

Monica Anna Maria Bellucci, 34, the sultry and seductive star of Malena, poses sensually with a snake around her in ad posters created by Tyen, Dior’s art director.
Inspired by the traditional Chinese ’snuff bottles’, Hypnotic Poison claims to unite dreams of beauty with mysteries of the Far East. Described on Dior’s website as ’small, delicate and finely crafted’, the bottles of the three editions of the new perfume — Midnight Poison, Pure Poison and Hypnotic Poison — contain the ’seduction fragrances.’
Well, I don’t really need the fragrance to get intoxicated by any perfume that Monica poses for.

Style icon Victoria Beckham is spicing up the cover of November issue of Vogue India.
Appears the former Spice Girl just can’t shed her image — appearing hot ‘n’ spicy in the ‘Indian Bride’ feature of the magazine.

Photographed for the article clad in an array of Indian dresses, Beckham, 34, says that she has “never played safe with my image” in the bridal issue, which illustrates “how to get your WOW wedding.”
“I feel like an Indian princess!” the mom-of-three adds enthusiastically, dressed in a beaded wedding sari and wearing sultry look that could capture a hundred Indian princes.

The Hills’ reality TV star Heidi Montag’s ‘Heidiwood for Anchor Blue’ has been discontinued.

Ended. Just like that. I remember the fanfare the then 21-year-old starlet created with the sign-up with Anchor Blue just a few months earlier this year, and I feel Heidi deserved a little more time to establish her brand.
Perhaps Anchor Blue saw no market in Heidi’s “sexed-up zebra prints and short-shorts”.
“We just felt that the one year was a great year for both of us, and we’re looking into other options,” was the explanation given by Marla Whit, the company’s spokesperson. “We really found that we want to explore … what style really means to our girl … and that doesn’t necessarily mean a celebrity brand. It really means fashion and comfort, and we can really accomplish that with our own brand.”
Most would of it as a setback for Heidi, but not me, given her enterprise for dreaming up new ideas… at least one of them should make it!
