Hollywood actress Diane Kruger has offered to lend her face to the cause of the non-profit organization Hear the World.
The Cannes Film Festival award winner is joined by actresses Mischa Barton, Maggie Gyllenhaal and rocker Billy Idol in raising awareness about hearing loss. They have been photographed by Bryan Adams in the signature Hear the World pose — with one hand behind one ear, symbolizing conscious hearing.
Kruger, 32, who appears on the cover of the October issue of the Hear the World magazine, follows in the footsteps of Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone, Mick Jagger and Lindsay Lohan, among others, who have been the previous ambassadors to Hear the World initiative.
We can expect Kruger to be in the news again very soon — she’s starring opposite Brad Pitt in the 2009 release of Quentin Tarantino’s new film “Inglorious Bastards”.

American TV series Gossip Girl actor Ed Westwick has signed up to star in K-Swiss’ Classic Shoe advertising campaign, starting February 2009.
The 21-year-old British actor, who’s also the lead singer of the English rock band The Filthy Youth, is shooting the ads in NYC featuring tennis balls, rackets and guitars. The TV spots will reportedly show him singing “Come Flash All You Ladies” from his rock band.
So why exactly is Drew Barrymore’s picture here? Well, apparently some romance is in the air between 33-year-old Drew Barrymore and Westwick, as evidenced at a recent concert in the UK. And that’s just news that might just go pretty well with the new role for the bad boy of Gossip Girl.

British “It” girl Daisy Lowe is the new face of Marc by Marc Jacobs fashion line.
American designer Marc Jacobs, currently the creative director of French design house Louis Vuitton, is reported to have admitted that he chose the “trendy girl in town” because he thought “she looks adorable.” Model Raquel Zimmerman will feature in Jacobs’ women’s Collection ads for spring.
Meanwhile, Lowe, just 19 years old, has established a name for herself in the fashion world, having modeled for Chanel, Agent Provocateur lingerie, Burberry, Ben Sherman and Whistles, among others. She’s been quoted: “Modeling is a cool outlet for me to express myself, and fashion has always fascinated me. I love that fashion crosses into my other passions – music and art.”

British Page 3 Girl and glamor model Keeley Hazell will front Sony’s latest video game MotorStorm Pacific Rift for PlayStation 3.
Pacific Rift is an ambitious sequel to MotorStorm, one of PS3’s best selling titles. The latest version, set in a tough tropical island, offers more attacks and eight vehicles (including the new Monster Truck) on 16 original tracks through land, sea, fire and air.
“To work with PlayStation 3 and fast cars was too much of a fun opportunity to miss,” said Hazel, known for her natural 32 EE’s. “I would have loved the chance to have driven the real rally car, but I will be more than satisfied with having a blast on the new game.”
The 22-year-old beauty was also the face of Sony’s Formula One 06 video game for PlayStation 2 as well as F1 CE for PlayStation 3.
Besides that, did you know that Keeley was hailed a couple of years ago as an “environmental hero” for her campaigns in The Sun, giving environmental tips such as turning lights off during sex and using digital cameras.
Come to think it, I’d love to save the environment any given day.

Elizabeth Hurley, the evergreen goddess of beauty, is teasing us mere mortals once again with photo shoots her hot new swimwear line.
Unless I’m terribly mistaken, wasn’t it too long ago when Hurley turned down an American Vogue offer to do a bikini line on her body?
“Frankly, I’ve always disliked being photographed in a bikini,” she’s reported to have told Hello! lately. But things change… thankfully.
