French cosmetic giant L’Oreal Paris is making sure you can’t escape getting hit — they’ve just added who must be among the hottest in show biz — Freida Pinto and Evangelline Lilly together with Elizabeth Banks in their latest campaigns.
The announcement came just before the 62nd Cannes Festival, but there’s no mistaking the intentions of L’Oreal:
“On the eve of the Cannes Festival, to which I want to reiterate our attachment, L’Oreal Paris is delighted that these great stars of world cinema have agreed to represent our brand,” says Jean-Jacques Lebel, president L’Oreal consumer products.

Freida Pinto, who claimed fame after Slumdog, is currently shooting Julian Schnabel’s movie, and then she’s booked for a Woody Allen flick.
“I am very moved to be joining the great L’Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of,” says Freida.
Evangelline Lilly, found in Lost, is a committed actress, however, when it’s L’Oreal talking, she says “it is a source of great pride for me to represent a brand whose ambition is to respond to every person’s aspirations to beauty…”
L’Oreal Paris has once again immeresed itself in a bevy of beauties to sell its brands. If the past has taught L’Oreal anything, they must be doing the right thing, right?

London “It” girl, rather soon-to-be-supermodel, Agyness Deyn has yet another high end campaign -she’d soon be seen in ads for a leading Austrian mineral water.

Agyness Deyn then (about a year ago) and now
Well, mineral water may not quite flow in line Deyn’s personality — sometimes called quirky — but what the heck, Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford have done ads for the same company.
The ad above shows Agyness, 26, creating some sort of a fountain, almost like tossing champagne with the mineral water.
The platinum haired model, who’s been hailed as the fashion industry’s next supermodel, was chosen by the Austrian company because, according to the bosses, she’s “glamourous, full of energy and a real character – but not over the top.”

Cutie Brit singer Lily Allen has been chosen to star in a new campaign for Chanel handbags. And she got the job ’cause “she’s fun.”

Karl Lagerfeld and Lily Allen
Well, most of us might agree that the 24-year-old “Smile” singer is all good looks and better music, but fashion mogul Karl Lagerfeld apparently has gone ahead to remark “she’s fun” while deciding to choose her as the new face of his leading brand Chanel.
Allen will start shooting the campaign for Karl’s Autumn-Winter 2009 collection later this week in London.
Lily is following in the footsteps of Jerry Hall, Diane Kruger and Milla Jovovich are some of the celebrities who have endorsed accessories the designer label earlier.

Mothers wordwide must be heaving a sigh of relief — if their two-year-olds are convinced what’s good for Wolverine must be good for them, too.
They have Hugh Jackman, the Australian film producer/director, to thank for. Jackman, who plays the Marvel Comics superhero Wolverine in the movie “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” set to be released today, says Wolverine gets his strength from milk. Yep, that’s right — milk. Remember?
Jackman, 40, says in the newly released ad for “Got Milk?”:
My power to regenerate might be top secret but my ability to re-energize is simple. Milk has protein to help build muscle and a unique mix of nutrients to help you refuel. So eat right, train hard and drink low fat milk. That’s just common mutant sense.
I guess superheroes keep it simple.
