All-American Hollywood celebrity Bridget Moynahan has signed up as the latest spokesperson for leading skincare brand Garnier Nutritioniste, and will pitch its top-selling Ultra-Lift collection.

With print and TV campaigns set to roll out by July 2010, Moynahan will be following in the footsteps of select Garnier ambassadors such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Bar Rafaeli and Alana de la Garza.
Garnier said Moynahan’s flawless skin was the perfect canvas to showcase Ultra-Lift collection, which targets the anti-aging needs of women in their 30’s and 40’s. The cosmetics brand said the star’s aspirational yet approachable look was the key to her appeal.
Moynahan, 38, said: “I was introduced to Garnier Nutritioniste when I was working on a film and I loved the way it made my skin feel. I am proud to be working with a company that’s focused on products that are good for you.”
She is the star of the upcoming flick Ramona and Beezus (2010) and is currently shooting the film Battle: Los Angeles.

Appears as if the trend is towards younger celebrities — or at least the younger wannabe celebrities — representing the older, international brands… if Versace’s picking the 17-year-old daughter of Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall as its spokesperson any indication.

Perhaps the Italian fashion house has a point. Donatella Versace has said: “She’s smart, a strong personality, beautiful, full of energy… and with that natural high star quality, I adore her! She’s perfect for this collection – A real Versace girl.”
The Versace S/S 2010 women’s ad campaign, shot by photographer Mario Testino in London earlier this month, will start appearing in February, in some of the stylist and lifestyle publications worldwide.
Wondering about the ‘toothy’ look? Georgia thinks it adds ‘character’.
“A while ago on the street, a guy yelled, ‘You could stick a gold through your front teeth.’ Which meant I could put a £1 coin between them,” Georgia said.
“But you can’t, I’ve tried. Fifty pence coins and two pence coins, yes. But not a pound,” she added. Wow.
That makes me wonder if Georgia could have been a better spokesperson for Gap jeans?

American singer, actress and entrepreneur Marie Osmond is now also a designer — with the launch of the Marie Lifestyle Collection, created together with interior decor and fashion range producer Gitcraft.

Osmond’s brand in the design industry will be marked by uniquely designed quilted bags and accessories, fashion jewelry, elegant table top and hip home decor accessories.
“Creative expression has always been respected and treasured in my family. It is with that in mind, that I have poured my creative spirit and love for design and style into this new lifestyle collection,” said Osmond, 49.
“I am thrilled to offer stylish, functional products for women everywhere at a value-oriented price.”
The product line, which closely reflects the Osmond style, retails for under $100 and will hit retailers across the US and Canada later this month.
