Fast-rising contemporary R&B and hip hop celebrity Keri Hilson has been tapped by Avon to present the beauty house’s new ’seduction fragrance’ brand, Imari Seduction.
Hilson, 27, is set to appear on an Avon brochure dedicated to the new fragrance brand around Fall, in which she’ll also endorse Avon’s flagship Color brand. But before that she will grace an Avon sales conference in her role as the spokesperson for the brand.
Though she’s associated with music, she’s appeared in a number of TV shows since 2009, and I’d definitely like to see her in full-length movie, if she’s inclined to change tracks (no pun intended). Wouldn’t you?
Talking about associating her brand name with other brands — even with one so big as Avon — Keri says she’s ‘careful’.
“I’m really careful,” the “In A Perfect World” singer said.
“I don’t want to be affiliated with too many brands. It’s got to make sense, and it makes sense [with Avon.] I love fragrance. I love beauty. I love to teach women that they should feel confident and feel good about themselves for themselves.”
Good for you, Keri. ‘Kerri’ on!

She may be gap-toothed and pout-mouthed, but this 17-year-old London “It” girl is definitely doing great ’showing off’ her pout to her advantage posing in Rimmel London’s New Colour Show Off campaign. That’s Georgia May Jagger… riveting in beauty and make-up brand Rimmel’s hot new lipstick Red Fever.
Georgia, gorgeous daughter of Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and supermodel Jerry Hall, has already appeared in several of Rimmel’s commercials, but we do look forward to seeing ‘more’ of her, the way she posed nearly naked for Hudson jeans.
And Rimmel wants you to have a chance at grabbing a full size sample in your perfect shade worth GBP5.99 ($9.15). You only need to register at their website and answer the question “How many show stopping shades is Rimmel London’s NEW Colour Show Off available in?”
They’re giving away some 12,000 samples and the competition closes on April 22. Still plenty of time… so check them out here!

Celebrity Brands fans will recall the post about the confusion around a name for a perfume brand that Jennifer Aniston was launching. Well, it appears like the search is over (no, it isn’t “The Butler Did It”)… Aniston’s new perfume is named Lola Vie.
I haven’t smelled the fragrance, but I like the name… though not very hip, I’d say. Heard it means something like “laugh at life” in French.
Yeah, “The Bounty Hunter” star was kinda picky in the beginning, insisting ‘Aniston’ should be included in the name of the perfume, but obviously she changed her mind.
“When they asked, I don’t think they really expected me to be [so] picky. But you’ve got to have it smell right,” she said.
Expect the Jennifer Aniston scent to hit retailers this summer. Hope it smells just as lovely as you look, Jennifer.
