Sarah Nuru, the Ethiopian-born fashion model from Munich, nicknamed “Sunshine” at the Germany’s Next Top Model contest where she beat out 21,000 contestants, is now the face of C903 Sony Ericsson mobile phone.
That is, after having graced the July 2009 German issue of Cosmopolitan, and having modeled for Gillette Venus shaving systems [see pics below].
Sara Nuru will be smiling in women’s titles at City Light posters and POS. And apparently Sony Ericsson is thrilled.
“Sara Nuru is the perfect embodiment of our claim of design and style,” said Gunter Thiel, Head of Marketing Sony Ericsson Germany.
“Her brilliant, natural smile is most suitable to the Cyber-shot models with Smile shutter, as well as the model Sony Ericsson C903. In addition, the mobile phone, with its eye-catching design in itself a fashion statement – (Suru and the phone) both fit perfectly.”
