French singer, model and actress Vanessa Paradis has replaced British celebrity Lily Allen as the face of Chanel handbags, the Coco Cocoon range, designed by none other than Karl Lagerfeld – or the Kaiser.

Chanel, the French fashion brand, has just released the new shoul campaign, featuring Paradis, 37, in alluring — if not outright seductive — poses and moods. The range is said to have been updated with new shapes, color and materials, but is still reminiscent of the quilted outside.
Karl expressed his delight shooting Paradis.
“I have often photographed her for magazines or advertising campaigns and each time it’s a pleasure,” he said.
“She really gives the impression that she is instantly on your level when you are working with her. People think she’s wonderful. She plays the game spontaneously, she is super natural.”
“And above all, she creates harmony all around her. We have formed a real bond in our working relationship. She has been to my studio a number of times, and it’s as if she were coming to the house for dinner,” the fashion design guru added.
By the way, didn’t the French celebrity replace Kirsten Dunst as the face of Prada’s Miu Miu not so long ago?
