Multi-Grammy award winning Sheryl Crow has teamed up with Western Glove Works to create her “comfortable and earthy” denim apparel line called Americana.

True to Crow-style, the jeans are supposed to be eco-friendly as well, using only fair-trade cotton and denim. The western and vintage style collection is scheduled for an August 15th launch through the singer’s Bootheel Trading Company.

“I have an incredible amount of vintage that I’ve collected over the years,” said Crow, 46. “My style is very Americana. I gravitate to pieces that are American by nature, either western or Depression-era.”

“I do almost everything in jeans, except sleep,” she added.

The line is said to be very affordable, with the most expensive jeans at $69, and the shirts starting at $29. Expect to see the complete Fall ‘08 collection at Dillard’s stores nationwide next week.
