Kardashians Pitch Brand on JPSelects.com

Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian Odom have launched an online store at JPSelects.com, the newest online shopping site for eco-chic fashion, beauty and luxury products, to pitch Kardashians’ Health and Beauty product lines.

The Kardashians Glamour Tan product will be live on JPSelects.com as of Tuesday, September 20, with a special debut price that is 45 percent off of retail for the first 72 hours.

After the first three days, customers will still be able to enjoy a 15 percent discount.

Glamour Tan products are carbon neutral and promote beautiful skin while avoiding harmful UV rays that cause skin cancer, plus purchases help support social causes.

For each one of the Kardashians products sold at JPSelects.com, 25 cents will be contributed to a carbon offset program by Windmill, and an additional 25 cents is donated to philanthropies supported by the Kardashian family, including Cathy’s Kids Foundation, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.


Liya Kebede Roped in by L’Oreal Paris

Ethiopian supermodel Liya Kebede has joined forces with global cosmetics giant L’Oreal Paris and will be the spokesperson for the brand.

The 32-year-old international model, who also created her own clothing brand, Lemlem in 2007, believes one can be only be truly comfortable with a brand that reflects their personality.

Kebede said:

“It is important for me that I represent a brand that reflects my personality. I’m pleased to play a part in sharing the uniqueness, the charisma, and the incredible stories of women of all origins and from all regions of the world,” says Liya Kebede.

Cyril Chapuy, Global Brand President of L’Oreal Paris, thinks Kebede is an inspiring and courageous woman.

Chapuay continued, “with an extremely refined and enchanting beauty. Her generous commitment to the cause of women’s wellbeing is also remarkable”.

Kebede has also taken on the role being WHO’s Ambassador for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health since 2005.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Jenna Menard Signs Up with Clinique

Celebrity makeup star has been enhancing the natural beauty of Hollywood hotshots such as of Kate Winslet, Ashley Greene and Rebecca Hall, but now she’s just about to become a celebrity on her own right – top cosmetics brand Clinique has named Menard as its first Global Color Artist.

Menard has won widespread acclaim for her makeup artistry through her work in top magazines globally, with celebrity clientele, and from the runways of the fashion capitals of the world.

Menard will play an active role in creating compelling digital content to amplify Clinique’s color positioning. She will help develop and star in how-to videos that will give women quick, easy ways to achieve their desired makeup looks.

Sofia Vergara New Face of COVERGIRL

Emmy-nominated actress Sofia Vergara (Modern Family) has just signed her first beauty contract with cosmetics giant COVERGIRL, and will be the spokesperson for several additions in the brand’s new product line-up.

“We couldn’t think of a better person to represent our Brand. Sofia is gorgeous inside and out and has broad appeal,” said Vince Hudson, General Manager, COVERGIRL cosmetics.

“She personifies what it means to be a COVERGIRL through her confidence and beautiful sense of humor.”

Emma Watson Signs Up as Face of Lancome

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has been announced as the new spokesperson for French beauty brand Lancome.

The forever-fresh looking 20-year-old beauty says she’s excited and can’t wait to start shooting.

Apparently she doesn’t wear a lot of make-up… (but when you’re Emma Watson, I guess you just don’t have to!) “Although I don’t wear much make-up, I’m a big fan of Lancome products, especially their mascara,” Watson said.

Renowned celebrity photographer Mario Testino will be behind the camera to shoot Emma for print adverts. The word is that she will appear in TV commercials as well.
