Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week took on a chocolatey flavor yesterday with the launch of M&M’s Premium Chocolate Candies at an event hosted by super celebrities Eva Longoria and Ms Green.

“M&M’S Premiums offer a little bit of luxury with each tantalizing bite,” said Longoria Parker. “The flavors and chic colors make them a delicious treat that I can’t wait to share with my girlfriends.”
“We are thrilled to celebrate the launch of M&M’S Premiums with such a chic, revered style backdrop as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week,” said Michele Kessler, VP marketing, Mars Snackfood US. “The opportunity for the brand to partner with a star the caliber of Eva Longoria Parker emphasizes the fashionable, sophistication of the product.”
Mars Snackfood’s high-end M&M’S Premiums were showcased by models dressed in brilliant colors to eflect the jewel-tones of the candies themselves. The little gems come in five varieties: Mint Chocolate, Raspberry Almond, Triple Chocolate, Chocolate Almond and Mocha.
Wonder what’s the favorite flavor of the glamorous Desperate Housewife?
“Mocha,” Longoria Parker revealed to AM New York. “That’s why I wore this dress. It is reflective of my favorite flavor. Pamela Roland donated it, so we could auction it off for Clothes Off Our Back.”
Alright, Eva was looking yummy. Now, over to the Premiums. Do you think the smooth and sophisticated looking chocolates are good enough to eat as well?

Jessica Simpson, pop/country singer, actress and designer, has taken on a new role to play: beer guzzler.
Forever entrepreneurial, Simpson has signed up with Dallas’ Stampede Brewing Company to become the new face of Stampede Light Plus, which brands itself as a beer for active people, is a new breed of new ‘Plus’ beverages, is a full-bodied German-style light lager beer. Reports go that Simpson, 28, is taking a 15 percent stake in the company.

“As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people,” said Simpson, 28. “Yes, I work out and take care of myself, but I also like a cold beer once in a while.”
“Jessica is America’s sweetheart and an internationally known entertainer who takes care of herself,” said Lawrence Schwartz, president and CEO of Stampede. “You can see it in her smile, her skin, her confidence, and her obvious physical fitness.”
Well, Jessica being able to ‘take care of herself’ is great, but I sure wanna see more of that Daisy Dukes body:

American R&B singer-songwriter, pianist and actress Alicia Keys was recently confirmed as the face of Glaceau’s Vitamin Water brand in a deal reportedly worth $50 million to the star.

With this, Alicia, 27, will follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Aniston and rapper 50 Cent, who made $400 million from his deal with the company last year. The ‘No One’ singer said she decided to partner with the drinks company after finding she couldn’t stop drinking the unique-tasting beverages.
“I don’t partner with anybody, but this really was natural for me because I’ve been a fan from the beginning,” she said. “I love their personality. Have you ever read the bottles? Don’t you just feel naturally smarter when you read it?”
Meanwhile, Alicia also hit the headlines last week with the news of her collaboration with White Stripes frontman Jack White to record “Another Way to Die”, the theme song for the new James Bond movie, “Quantum of Solace” due for release this November. This will be the first time a duet will be singing over the opening credit lines of a 007 film.

German supermodel Heidi Klum is the new face of McDonald’s chicken wraps.

The 34-year-old supermodel, actress, TV presenter, fashion designer, television producer and hostess of Project Runway and Germany’s Next Top Model was seen in Munich yesterday advertising McDonald’s chicken wraps and… well, that just about wraps it up.
The mother of three was looking gorgeous as usual, in a matching jacket and pants suit well complemented by a striped white shirt and an easy-on-the-eyes hairdo.
The point here is, how often do you see a Victoria’s Secret model indulging in Big Mac, fries and soda?

First lady of France Carla Bruni, wife of President Nicolas Sarkozy, has signed up to add a touch of class to the Cornish company’s savoury treats of bakes, pastries and spicy tortilla wraps.

The former supermodel and singer will be featured in a commercial where she’s driving down the A34 and she wants a Ploughman’s Roll and Buffet Bar–no matter what. She pulls into a convenience store at a gas station and tears the wrapper off a Bar and hogs it like there’s no tomorrow.

The commercial closes with the line, ‘Imagine Smearing a Cheese and Onion Slice Across Carla Bruni’s Bum’.
“Whenever Nicolas and I travel to meet foreign heads of state, I always ensure ze fridge on our official plane is stocked with at least two dozen Mexican Spicy Chicken Pasties. I eat zem cold,” said Bruni. She added: “I have to admit zat when I attended ze official banquet at Buckingham Palace I could not finish my dinner because I had spent all afternoon is ze bath with a copy of TV Quick and an enormous pile of scotch eggs.”
Meanwhile what’s this I hear about Bruni replacing Coleen McLoughlin as the ambassador for Asda? Especially since McLoughlin’s £3 million-two-year contract with the supermarket ended last month.
