So what if she was dumped by the eternal heartbreaker George Clooney? Within a month of their break-up, Sarah Larson is set to become the face of Christian Audigier’s new line of couture dresses.
“She is a fresh, elegant and classy girl. I saw her on a red carpet and liked her style and European look,” Audigier told People magazine.
The former cocktail waitress has revealed that she’d like to develop that passion into designing her own red-carpet range.
Meanwhile, Larson’s agent Kenya Knight said, “Sarah was picked by Christian Audigier because she looks fabulous in everything she wears.”
Now, how about Sarah looking fabulous in everything she does NOT wear? The celebrity scene is abuzz with rumors that Sarah will be posing nude for Playboy.
UPDATE
The quote about Armani dresses that Larson allegedly made is fake, according to a notice I received from Ms Kenya Knight of Nous Model Management. With due respect, the quote has been removed from this post.
The error is deeply regretted.

“I’m blessed and grateful to be back at YSL,” was what Naomi Campbell had to say when she was unveiled as the new face of French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent.
Well guys, I can say this story is not coming at a good time especially when Mr Yves Saint Laurent died yesterday at the age of 71 (1936-2008). Then again, I’m blogging the news because what other better way to pay tribute to YSL, who defined women’s fashion in the 20th century.

Campbell, 38, told The Mail last Sunday: “I’m blessed and grateful to be working with YSL again – a house that gave me a start in my career.” The YSL deal is rumored to be worth a cool $400,000 to Campbell.
“Naomi shot the latest campaign in the label’s studio on Avenue George V in Paris during March,” said sources. “The advert has a similar feel to the recent ad Kate Moss did for YSL. It has a very arty feel and Naomi proves she can still look as stunning as ever.”

Vanessa who? Not sure if the name is very popular yet, but Vanessa Paradis, Johnny Depp’s girfriend, is replacing Kirsten Dunst as the face of Prada’s Miu Miu brand.
The Prada fashion house has confirmed the French singer/actress will be their spokesmodel for the 2008 and 2009.

The ads will once again be left up to the photography talents of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott will shoot Paradis for the campaigns, the same team who shot Dunst last year.
Fans will recall that Vanessa has previously starred in campaigns for Chanel. She also recently won Best Female Pop Song at the Ceremony of Victoires De La Musiques 2008 in Paris.

6126–at least, I think that’s what it’s called. Lindsay Lohan’s new black leggings featuring exposed zips, glittery fabric and shiny knee patches.
“I’m doing my own leggings line,” the 21-year-old newsmaker told Life & Style. “I love leggings. They’ll have designs. Some of them will have prints and some will have patterns.”

LiLo started off by striking a pose outside the Vista Theatre in Hollywood, before grabbing a couple of models and hitting Robertson Boulevard where 50 photographers were promptly waiting for her.
I think it’s a good thing for Lindsay to do. Might give her a sense of responsibility… after all, from what we hear, she’s in a cash trap, having to pay $1 million for her hotels and $70,000 for tanning… huh.

Nike Golf has announced plans to add a new collection to its golf clothing brands - the new Tiger Woods Platinum Collection of Nike golf clothing.
Premium stores across the UK will retail Tiger Woods Platinum Collection of golf clothing starting next month. The design hinges on the distinctive personal insights of best known names in the world of golf, Tiger Woods. The Platinum style is said to reflect the personality of the man.

“Tiger came to us and said that he wanted something that represents a new level of sophistication - apparel that performs and looks good on and off the course,” said Doug Reed, Nike Golf’s global director for apparel and footwear.
“So we worked closely with Tiger on creating an uncompromising, competitive and progressive line of clothing that represents where Tiger is today. We are evolving as Tiger evolves. It’s really an amazing and inspiring process.”
The Tiger Woods Platinum Collection of Nike golf clothing features a brand new concept–“no sew” technology that is supposed to reduce weight and bulk in places like plackets, sleeves and collars, and gives the simple knit shirt a sleek, modern look. The new premium line incorporates Nike’s innovative NikeFIT technology without compromising the luxurious style it renders.
Considering that Tiger has been on the staff of Nike Golf for over a decade, this move is really not a surprise.
Some of the featured offerings in the TW Platinum line include the Dri-FIT Pique Polo (£55), Dri-FIT Jersey Polo (£65) with laser-cut buttonholes and no-sew placket, Dri-FIT Matte Sheen Polo (£60) and TW Platinum pants, pullovers and jackets.
Wonder why I published the image of the Woods couple? Simple. I love looking at Elin’s photo.
