Hollywood actress-bombshell Megan Fox has signed up to promote Armani fragrances and fashions, replacing ‘Obsessed’ star Beyoncé Knowles in the Italian house’s upcoming campaigns.

Fans of Beyoncé will recall that she was set to promote Armani’s Emporio Armani Diamonds in 2007 and is said to have appeared in a campaign as well, though I might have missed it.
But now it appears more or less certain that the 23-year-old Transformers star is set to transform Armani’s image as well.

Reality star-designer-celebrity blogger Kim Kardashian has just acquired a new avatar — that of a fragrance creator, teaming up with 50 Cent’s perfume brand Lighthouse Beauty.

Yet burning fresh from her cover and photo shoot with YRB magazine (photo above), Kim is not losing time looking back. She’s all set to launch an as yet unnamed scent which will hit the stores next spring.
The 28-year-old brunette apparently loved working with Lighthouse Beauty. As she told WWD:
“Collaborating with Lighthouse Beauty was a really creative, innovative process.
“What’s so different about their approach is that they have worked closely with me on all aspects of my fragrance, the bottle, the juice, and even our distribution strategy so I can develop a product that truly represents me and speaks to my fans. Because of their commitment to including me in the process, the fragrance really captures who I am.”

R&B singer Mariah Carey has once again teamed up with fragrances leader Elizabeth Arden to produce and launch her third signature scent for women called “Forever”, set to hit about 2,000 department and specialty stores next month.

This is the third year in succession that Carey is launching her Mariah Carey brands, with M by Mariah Carey in September 2007, followed by the ‘flirty’ Luscious Pink in June 2008, and now Forever.
“I am in a wonderful place right now, surrounded by all the things I love, and Forever captures this moment in time,” Carey, 39, was quoted as saying by WWD.
Obviously Elizabeth Arden thinks so, too. Joel Ronkin, EVP & GM North America Fragrances Elizabeth Arden, said in the company’s fourth quarter 2009 earnings call: “That [the new perfume] will capitalize on her popularity and the success of her two fragrances that she’s previously launched both M and Luscious
Pink.”
“When we work with celebrities, we aim to put together a project which is representative of their life,” said Ron Rolleston, EVP for global fragrance marketing at Elizabeth Arden.
“Mariah’s happily married, has a movie coming out in November, which already did well at Sundance, and she is releasing a new album in September. She’s got a lot of joy and optimism in her life right now, and we wanted to express that in a fragrance.”
The eau de parfum comes in three sizes — 1 oz ($42), 1.7 oz ($55) and 3.3 oz ($65), while the 0.5-oz parfum sells for $250, and the 6.8-oz body lotion for $28.

We should be able to check out the print ads in October fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazines, including Elle, Vogue, Glamour and In Style, while a TV commercial is scheduled for the gift-giving season.
Word is out that Arden will promote the scent leveraging Carey’s 1.7 million followers on Twitter and 700,000 Facebook fans.

Salt star Angelina Jolie hasn’t lost one bit of her dynamism from her Lara Croft days — she’s just proven that by being just what Armani was looking for to pitch its new scent — “the most dynamic female star in the world.”

That’s right, as an insider tells us, ““For this fragrance push, they needed a true A-lister, and Angelina is the biggest, most dynamic female star in the world.”
The celebrity-source reveals in the July 6 issue of Life & Style, ““Armani rolled up the Brink’s truck for Angelina, because frankly, she’s worth it.”
While there can be no doubt Jolie is A-list stuff, classy and stylish, will the Armani perfume live up to her? Guess we’ll just to wait and see until the scent hits the retailers later this year.
Until then, enjoy some pictures of Angelina Jolie at her best:

Product: Italian fashion designer Alberta Ferretti’s signature perfume
Producer: American Cosmetic giant Elizabeth Arden
Presenter: German supermodel Claudia Schiffer
The stellar combination will come to life when this autumn when the campaign kicks off.

The perfume is ‘inspired by the sensuality of a woman’, said Ferretti, which is why ‘Claudia was a natural fit for the first campaign’, shot recently by Mert and Marcus.
Ferretti said she looked to the women who wear her fashion for inspiration.
“Claudia is a beauty icon and a woman whose sensuality comes from her unique and inimitable personality,” said Ferretti of Schiffer, who, according to Ferretti, is “modern, has style and sophistication, and most importantly, identity.”
Ferretti continued: “Claudia is a beauty icon and a woman whose sensuality comes from her unique and inimitable personality. Possessing awareness and strength, she expresses the qualities that every woman desires. Claudia represents the woman for whom my fashion and fragrance is designed.”
Schiffer, 38, who’s appeared on over 500 magazine covers, has responded quite warmly: “It’s an honor to be chosen as the face of the Alberta Ferretti fragrance. Alberta and I have worked together for many years and it’s wonderful to be able to collaborate on this exciting project together.”
“Alberta’s designs always embody femininity and elegance which are reflected in this fragrance,” she added.
Ron Rolleston, executive vice president, global marketing at Elizabeth Arden, collaborated with Ferretti to create the new fragrance.
“We believe we have created a fragrance that expresses the brand values which emanate from Alberta’s rich creative experience,” said Rollenston. “It was important that we stay true to those values in selecting a face for this sophisticated new fragrance. In Claudia Schiffer we have found an ideal visual representation for the brand.”
The fragrance and campaign is set to launch in Europe this Fall.
