Okay, all you celebrity hunters/haunters, appears like your ultimate dream might have just come true – JustSpotted.com has released an application for Android-powered smartphones that sends out an alert when a celebrity is sighted “nearby”.
The free app that is available online features a map that pins down the location of celeb sightings in real time. The input data is based on public updates to Facebook and Twitter.
“There is no other application that gives you real-time alerts like this with thousands of spottings on our website every day,” real-time search engine Scoopler co-founder A J Asver was quoted as saying by top news agency AFP.
“If you are in a metropolitan area, you are going to be pleasantly surprised by how close you are to the celebrity world.”
Apparently the app is “celebrity-friendly” and apparently no celebrity has complained yet.

Emma Watson, yeah, THE Emma Watson, apparently, has some learning to do, and since it has nothing to do with witchcraft, she’ll be doing it at Brown University, a member of the Ivy League.
Paste magazine tells us that Emma has confirmed she will enroll as a college freshman this fall at Brown, in Rhode Island.
“I am going to Brown, I’ve got a place there to read literature,” she revealed to the music, film and culture magazine.
Is she worried that her celebrity status might come in the way of her studies?
I’d guess not, from what Emma has to say about it: “That’s inevitable [getting recognized as 'the star'], I suppose, some of them must have seen the films over the years. But I do hope that it will be only a short time before I am known as ‘Emma Watson, the student from the UK’ rather than ‘Emma Watson who starred in those Harry Potter films’.”
When asked if it was a deliberate choice to step out of the limelight, Emma replied, “It’s not so much that, no, I’m not trying to hide or anything like that. It sounds so geeky, but I really do like studying and reading, and if I’m not working on Harry Potter, then my greatest relaxation is to sit with a book.
“That’s how I escape stress—in literature. I always have several books on the go at any one moment, so it’s no good you asking ‘What’s on the bedside table at the moment, Emma?’ because often I can’t even see the table! I think that all that reading is just about the only similarity I have with Hermione, if you ask me.”
Emma has had a spell of a straight A’s all her academic career, and I don’t see any reason why Brown should be different for her. Good luck, Emma.

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen is going for green with her Save the Forest Ad Campaign with Ipanema Sementes.

Bündchen is promoting her Ipanema flip flop line, this time in a forest outfit with the aim to raise awareness on Atlantic deforestation and supporting the well respected organization SOS Mata Atlantica, a program supporting the gallery forest (the vegetation surrounding rivers and streams). Each Ipanema sandal sold will help plating 25,500 saplings from 100 different species.
Tha campaign “Gisele Bündchen of the Future – Seeds” supports the cause of clean water and the choice of the theme of seeds was due to the importance they have in the ecosystem, because the seed is the beginning of everything — trees grow from seeds and protect the water.

“Sometimes I’m sexy, and sometimes I’m not,” says Hollywood actress Elizabeth Banks tells Women’s Health in its October issue, which incidentally has a celebrity on its cover for the first time.
“Sex is always funny. I don’t find it sexy–I find it really horrifying. But it’s an act that we need. And that need, that desire, is what makes it really funny,” says the 34-year-old cutie. “Every dude is trying to get laid, 24/7, from the time they’re 11 or 12. Everything they do is about trying to get laid, yet they’re maybe way too hairy, they fart, they have tempers. They don’t know what the real situation is, and it’s that struggle that I find really funny. Every man wins the lottery when he gets a woman to love him.”
Banks is starring with Seth Rogen in the Kevin Smith comedy, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, a “romantic comedy” (according to Banks) about two platonic friends who decide to make a quick buck by producing a porn flick. And that’s cool with her husband Max Handelman, to whom she’s married since 2003.
“I don’t think I’m that special, and he definitely doesn’t think I am,” said Banks. “Because no one is that special. I’m not curing cancer; I’m not saving lives. I play make-believe for a living, so let’s not take it too seriously.”
Does she work on her sex appeal? Guess not: “I’m not a fan of plastic surgery,” she says. “Oh, and I’ve never had a wax in my life. Waxing makes no sense to me.”
Rather ironically, Banks is also starring as U.S. First Lady Laura Bush in Oliver Stone’s film on the life of President George W. Bush, W, slated for release next month.
Well, so is Banks sexy or funny? Or both? I have formed my opinion judging from the pictures below. What’s yours? Would you rather be seen with her in Disneyland — or Four Seasons?
