“Only you can silence yourself. Make them hear you. Register to vote now…” is the message Hollywood star Jessica Alba seems to deliver in a new bondage-themed campaign for Declare Yourself.

“I think it is important for young people to be aware of the need we have in this country to get them more active politically,” said Alba, 27. “People respond to things that are shocking.
“If you don’t register and vote and make a difference, and hopefully change the bad things that are happening in our country, you are essentially just binding and muzzling yourself.”
Declare Yourself’s “Only You Can Silence Yourself” PSA campaigns typically show celebrities crying with their mouths forced shut. A 2004 campaign with a photo of Christina Aguilera showed the singer with her lips tied up with leather string. Another ad showed Mean Girls actor Jonathan Bennett silenced with screws and bolts.
ET will broadcast a behind-the-scenes clip of the photo shoot for the upcoming campaign and brief interview tonight. Watch the preview here:
How was it for Jessica to be aimed at by Marc Liddell’s famous lens?
“It didn’t freak me out at all,” said FHM’s Sexiest Woman in the World 2007. “What I like about Marc’s work is that he tells a story and brings real emotion to his pictures.”
Declare Yourself is a nonprofit organization that encourages young people to vote and the campaign conveys powerful messages about the importance of voting.

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld has signed up with Microsoft to be a part of $300 million marketing campaign aimed at taking on Apple’s “I’m a Mac, I’m a PC” adverts which cast Microsoft software as outdated.
The “Jerry Seinfeld” NBC sitcom star will allegedly receive $10 million for the campaign devised by Miami-based Crispin Porter + Bogusky, which will build on the catch phrase “Windows, Not Walls” in an attempt to underscore the connection between people and ideas.

Seinfeld, 54, has a proven record as a successful promoter for American Express, but is he right for Microsoft?
I used to be a Seinfeld fan, but that was like a decade ago. Will the current generation of computer buyers want to hear what Seinfeld has to say? And unless I’m much mistaken, wasn’t that a Mac in his apartment in an episode of Seinfeld?
To top it off, I think “Jerry” seems to jell better with “Apple” than with “Microsoft”.

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has achieved the distinction of getting the same photo of hers (at least in the same pose) published on five Cosmpolitan magazine covers of five different countries. And all five of them this calendar year alone.
It started with the South Africa edition of Cosmopolitan magazine in January 2008. Cosmopolitan Russia expressed their admiration by following suit on their July 2008 issue cover. Pretty soon, it’s Gisele everywhere — Estonia (August 2008), followed by Australia (September 2008) and Germany (September 2008).
Obviously, it’s the same photo with her dress in different colors. Amazing Photoshop, or what.

Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has given as yet her most revealing interview to HELLO! magazine in her first beach photoshoot in seven years.
The 35-year-old mum posed for Hello! magazine during a two-week holiday in Las Alamandas in Mexico.
Geri talks about how she still may be one of the most glamorous women in pop, admits to a self-conscious streak whenever she strips down to her bikini in public and her concerns about her figure.
“My self-esteem is no longer built into having a perfect body although I have the same hang-ups as many other women,” says Geri. “At the moment I’m a bit curvier having done the tour, so it was big mental step forward for me to show my natural self, rather than my worked-out honed self.”
“I definitely have commitment issues,” she adds. “It is lovely to be with somebody and find a connection and by intimate and open. That is wonderful but I have learnt there are also minuses to that. As a single person I have learned to cope by myself and I have my own habits. Allowing someone into my life is a huge adjustment.”
She added: “I love being in love but I can be fickle. One minute I think somebody is the love of my life and the next I don’t. I blow hot and cold.”
This week’s HELLO! (on sale from today) carries the full story and the stunning photos of Geri and Bluebell in a special 15-page report.
