Amber Heard in Fendi on Fashion Magazine Cover

The girl who loves “hot cars, loud guns and classic rock ‘n’ roll” apparently also loves Fendi as Amber Heard proves on the cover of the April 2010 issue of Fashion Magazine.

The Informers hottie is seen here wearing a $2,245 Fendi dress, embellished with $400 cuffs by Kara by Kara Ross. Her ample hair was done by Hair by Gio Campora. Michael Williams is the lucky photographer.

Planning to date Amber? Well, the wait could be somewhat long — the blonde H-bomb has lined up five films in post production in 2010 alone — The River Why, the Joneses, And Soon the Darkness, The Rum Diary (opp Johnny Depp) and The Ward. She’s also doing a flick starring opposite Nicolas Cage in the 2011 Drive Angry.

Looks like we’ll be seeing [literally] a lot more of Amber Heard in the coming days. But who’s complaining?

Check out some photos from her photo shoot for Fahion Magazine:

Ana Ivanovic Spices Up SI’s Swimsuit 2010 Issue

Former World No. 1 tennis hottie Ana Ivanovic has used her celebrity status as well as her lithe figure to boost the brand image of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit 2010 issue.

Ivanovic, 22, posed in a variety of tennis props, wrapping herself in a tennis net as well as spreading out in a bed of pink tennis balls — all shot by renowned photographer Marlena Bielinska in New York. Ana was one of the several female athletes featured in the SI issue, but for Ana, who has modeled before, this was the first SI appearance.

The Serbian tennis star was seeded 20th at the 2010 Australian Open, where she reached the second round where she lost Gisela Dulko 6–7(6), 7–5, 6–4. Ivanovic’s next tennis appearance will be at the 2010 BNP Paribas Open, in Indian Wells, California, from March 8 through March 21.

Michelle Obama Graces Glamour’s December Cover

For the first time in Glamour’s 70-year history, its putting a First Lady on its cover in its December 2009 issue — Michelle Obama, as one of the magazine’s 12 Women of the Year.

The magazine is also honoring Obama with a special recognition award for her commitment to mentoring young women in the annual Women of the Year issue, set to hit newsstands on November 10.

Tip: It is definitely a collector’s item, so keep at least one copy in mint condition.

New Glamour columnist and CBS anchor Katie Couric interviewed Obama on the occasion, where the First Lady shared her point of view on fashion and ‘cuteness.’

Setting your own standards is key to style, said Obama…

“People are always going to have opinions, and people have a right to their opinions, particularly when you’re the First Lady; you’re representing the nation. So I can’t be surprised that people are interested. But I’ve tried to be at peace with the choices that I make first, and then be open to everyone else’s reflection.”

… and advised not to get carried by the ‘cute’ factor.

“Cute’s good. But cute only lasts for so long, and then it’s, Who are you as a person? Don’t look at the bankbook or the title. Look at the heart. Look at the soul…When you’re dating a man, you should always feel good…You shouldn’t be in a relationship with somebody who doesn’t make you completely happy and make you feel whole.”

Obama’s outfit on the Glamour cover — the drop-waist, red cocktail dress with an adapted ballskirt and necklace — is apparently from her own closet.

However, fashionistas will recall that she wear a $1500 dazzling gold sheath by Cuban-born designer Isabel Toledo to the presidential swearing-in ceremony way back in January 2009:

Heidi Montag on Playboy Cover — Doesn’t Uncover

MTV Reality TV series The Hills hottie Heidi Montag has just proved she isn’t over the hill yet by appearing ‘glamorously dirty’ on the cover of the September 2009 issue of Playboy, but she’s not in her birthday suit inside the magazine.

There are a couple of takes on why Montag is not naked.

Said to be zealously religious, perhaps Mrs Pratt has some notion that getting photographed completely nude is kinda taboo? Ugh.

On the flip, more realistic, side, probably the money wasn’t enough. Wasn’t it just last year when the celebrity gossip world was rife with stories about Montag having been offered $1 million to pose nude in Playboy, as claimed by hubby Spencer Pratt?

A representative for Playboy wouldn’t officially deny that an offer was made, but did say that the figures weren’t nearly as high as Spencer alleged.

Either way, being a genuine admirer of Heidi (clothed or unclothed), something is better than nothing (although nothing is better than something), I was glad to see her pictures and read the juicy interview in the magazine.

Here’s some pictures of Heidi Montag in the September 2009 issue of Playboy in case you haven’t had a chance to lay your hands on it yet:

Emma Watson Goes Brown

Emma Watson, yeah, THE Emma Watson, apparently, has some learning to do, and since it has nothing to do with witchcraft, she’ll be doing it at Brown University, a member of the Ivy League.

Paste magazine tells us that Emma has confirmed she will enroll as a college freshman this fall at Brown, in Rhode Island.

“I am going to Brown, I’ve got a place there to read literature,” she revealed to the music, film and culture magazine.

Is she worried that her celebrity status might come in the way of her studies?

I’d guess not, from what Emma has to say about it: “That’s inevitable [getting recognized as 'the star'], I suppose, some of them must have seen the films over the years. But I do hope that it will be only a short time before I am known as ‘Emma Watson, the student from the UK’ rather than ‘Emma Watson who starred in those Harry Potter films’.”

When asked if it was a deliberate choice to step out of the limelight, Emma replied, “It’s not so much that, no, I’m not trying to hide or anything like that. It sounds so geeky, but I really do like studying and reading, and if I’m not working on Harry Potter, then my greatest relaxation is to sit with a book.

That’s how I escape stress—in literature. I always have several books on the go at any one moment, so it’s no good you asking ‘What’s on the bedside table at the moment, Emma?’ because often I can’t even see the table! I think that all that reading is just about the only similarity I have with Hermione, if you ask me.”

Emma has had a spell of a straight A’s all her academic career, and I don’t see any reason why Brown should be different for her. Good luck, Emma.
