US country music sensation Taylor Swift has dared to don the “milk mustache” for the latest campaign of “Got Milk?”

“In this business, you’ve got to be decisive. So I choose milk. Some studies suggest that teens who choose milk instead of sugary drinks tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. So eat right, exercise and drink 3 glasses of lowfat or fat free milk a day. Music to my ears.”
I think it’s a superb way to draw the attention of teens away from drugs and other illegal stuff — Taylor, 18, instead of saying “Say No to Drugs” (which just doesn’t work that way, by the way) is trying the pro-active way to prompt teens to do the right thing.
Milk and music. Sounds like healthy country music!

The men, the music and the magic come together again after 28 long years. Following the phenomenal success of their seventh studio album ‘Long Road out of Eden’, American rock band The Eagles have embarked on a world tour to further promote the thrill of their strings among their fans.

The album, which was nearly six years in production, has sold in excess of 2.2 million albums worldwide and has topped the music charts in the UK, Australia, Greece, India, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and Norway, apart from being certified seven times Platinum by the RIAA. Released in October last year, the album debuted at No. 1, with sales of 711,000 units, and in only nine weeks became the biggest selling album by a group in 2007.
After a whirlwind tour of the UK, Sweden and the Netherlands, The Eagles have kicked off their US tour, with performances in TN, MO, WI, IL, MN, TX, MA and OK, with dates stretching into late November, 2008.
From what I hear, The Eagles fan base is as loyal as ever, if not even more yearning for more of Don Henley’s songs and the sting of Walsh’s guitar. To me, listening to The Eagles again is like homecoming — I instantly, rather intuitively, recognize their haunting melody. Truly, ‘you can never leave’ The Eagles!

American R&B singer-songwriter, pianist and actress Alicia Keys was recently confirmed as the face of Glaceau’s Vitamin Water brand in a deal reportedly worth $50 million to the star.

With this, Alicia, 27, will follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Aniston and rapper 50 Cent, who made $400 million from his deal with the company last year. The ‘No One’ singer said she decided to partner with the drinks company after finding she couldn’t stop drinking the unique-tasting beverages.
“I don’t partner with anybody, but this really was natural for me because I’ve been a fan from the beginning,” she said. “I love their personality. Have you ever read the bottles? Don’t you just feel naturally smarter when you read it?”
Meanwhile, Alicia also hit the headlines last week with the news of her collaboration with White Stripes frontman Jack White to record “Another Way to Die”, the theme song for the new James Bond movie, “Quantum of Solace” due for release this November. This will be the first time a duet will be singing over the opening credit lines of a 007 film.
