Jennifer Connelly New Face of Shiseido

The A Beautiful Mind star Jennifer Connelly will be the global spokesperson for major skincare brand Shiseido, as the Tokyo-based beauty company celebrates its 140th anniversary.

The 41-year-old Academy Award-winning actress will endorse Shiseido’s highly acclaimed premium skincare line Future Solution LX.

“I am honored to be working with Shiseido again and to be representing the Future Solution LX line globally,” said Connelly.

“Like Shiseido, I believe it is important to prepare now for our future well being. I look forward to sharing my journey with Future Solution LX with women worldwide.”

This will be Connelly’s first job as a global representative of the brand. She previously appeared in an advertising campaign for a Shiseido makeup brand that was distributed in Japan.

Connelly’s first advertising campaign as global spokesperson will debut this fall.

All things good… but I have never been a die-hard fan of the depth and tone of Connelly’s skin. Of course, even after all kinds of Hollywood make-up.

But then her hair is ravishing… as the above photo proves. Perhaps she should be speaking for a hair care brand? No?

Let us know what you think!

Naya Rivera is the New Proactiv Face

Glee cheerleader Naya Rivera has signed on to become the new celebrity face of acne treatment brand Proactive and will share her unique experience since her days in high school.

As a teenager, she loved the way Proactive made her skin glow, said Rivera, now 24.

She has once again turned to Proactiv products to clear her skin of recent blemishes and breakouts while on set, on tour and at home.

“I am excited to be a part of a show that encourages teens and young adults to embrace their differences and be proud of who they are as an individual, which is exactly why I am honored to represent Proactiv,” said Rivera, who is of half Puerto Rican, quarter African, and quarter German descent.

“Working with Proactiv will allow me to take that self confidence message a step further by helping individuals tackle their acne and literally put their best face forward.”

Joining a star-studded lineup of current Proactiv celebrity customers-turned-spokespeople, including Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne and Julianne Hough, Naya will appear in several new Proactiv television spots, debuting in spring 2012.

Bethany Hamilton Smiles Better with Damon

Professional celebrity surfer Bethany Hamilton can now inspire us even more – with sparkling teeth to match the beauty of her soul.

The 21-year-old Soul Surfer (April, 2011) star has signed on as the official endorser of orthodontic treatment brand Damon System, that combines patented “tieless” braces with advanced memory wire.

Hamilton relied on the transformative Damon System to quickly and comfortably improve the health and beauty of her smile.

Known for triumphantly overcoming a horrific shark attack, Hamilton has partnered with Ormco to promote the Damon System and encourage teens, children and adults of all ages to smile through adversity, regardless of the challenges life throws their way.

“Smiles are a blessing and an infectious tool for spreading happiness and bringing joy to others,” said Hamilton.

“The Damon System transformed my smile, allowing me to confidently share my story of perseverance and encourage others undergoing adversity. I’m glad to be a part of the Damon System team and I look forward to sharing the positive changes and incredible results that I experienced with this unique orthodontic treatment,” the smiling surfing sensation said.

Khloé Kardashian Face of Nivea Skin Program

Reality TV star Khloé Kardashian Odom has signed up with top skincare brand Nivea as the face of its four-week program featuring fitness, nutrition, style and skincare with Nivea Good-bye Cellulite products.

The upcoming bikini season will see Kardashian use Nivea’s Good-bye Cellulite Fast Acting Serum and Advanced Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream to help visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite and help to increase overall bikini confidence.

“Yes, I have cellulite—that’s no secret. I’m so excited to partner with Nivea to help me feel even sexier this summer,” said Kardashian, face of Nivea Good-bye Cellulite, Hello Bikini! Challenge.

“I saw the great results that my sister Kim achieved when she took the 4-week Challenge a few years ago, so now I’m choosing to do something to increase my confidence and make my skin look smoother,” added the 26-year-old star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Magnus Jonsson, vice president, marketing, Beiersdorf, said: “It’s inspiring that a star like Khloé isn’t afraid to share that she has cellulite, and openly tell women that it’s OK to want to improve the appearance of their skin.”

“Nivea shares the same goals and aspires to help women everywhere feel more beautiful and confident, with the help of our unique diet and exercise program and Good-bye Cellulite products.”

Khloé, younger sister of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, with whom she owns a clothing boutique, D-A-S-H, is also encouraging women everywhere to join her in taking the Challenge to help get bikini confident for summer.

Speaking of being bikini ready, a simple tummy tuck procedure can claim miracles by trimming the waistline and getting rid of excess skin and fat.

And now, with the tummy tuck cost getting lower and the benefits getting larger, it’s no wonder that abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) was among the top five cosmetic procedures in the US in 2010, according to a report from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

Clarisonic donates to charity in the name of Mila Kunis

Clarisonic awarded national charitable partner Look Good…Feel Better a $250,000 donation in the name of Black Swan actor Mila Kunis, bringing fundraising efforts by the leading innovator in sonic skin care to a total of $1.1 million.

“I am happy to help support such a worthwhile cause and am honored to be Clarisonic’s Empowered Woman,” said Kunis, 27.

“Almost all families are affected at some time by cancer—even mine. It is inspiring to know there is a free resource like Look Good…Feel Better out there to help make recovery just a little easier,” she added.
