Khloé Kardashian Face of Nivea Skin Program

Reality TV star Khloé Kardashian Odom has signed up with top skincare brand Nivea as the face of its four-week program featuring fitness, nutrition, style and skincare with Nivea Good-bye Cellulite products.

The upcoming bikini season will see Kardashian use Nivea’s Good-bye Cellulite Fast Acting Serum and Advanced Good-bye Cellulite Gel-Cream to help visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite and help to increase overall bikini confidence.

“Yes, I have cellulite—that’s no secret. I’m so excited to partner with Nivea to help me feel even sexier this summer,” said Kardashian, face of Nivea Good-bye Cellulite, Hello Bikini! Challenge.

“I saw the great results that my sister Kim achieved when she took the 4-week Challenge a few years ago, so now I’m choosing to do something to increase my confidence and make my skin look smoother,” added the 26-year-old star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Magnus Jonsson, vice president, marketing, Beiersdorf, said: “It’s inspiring that a star like Khloé isn’t afraid to share that she has cellulite, and openly tell women that it’s OK to want to improve the appearance of their skin.”

“Nivea shares the same goals and aspires to help women everywhere feel more beautiful and confident, with the help of our unique diet and exercise program and Good-bye Cellulite products.”

Khloé, younger sister of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, with whom she owns a clothing boutique, D-A-S-H, is also encouraging women everywhere to join her in taking the Challenge to help get bikini confident for summer.

Speaking of being bikini ready, a simple tummy tuck procedure can claim miracles by trimming the waistline and getting rid of excess skin and fat.

And now, with the tummy tuck cost getting lower and the benefits getting larger, it’s no wonder that abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) was among the top five cosmetic procedures in the US in 2010, according to a report from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

What does 34-24-34 mean to you? A celebrity statistics keeper would most likely tell immediately that these are the breast-waist-hip measurements of Megan Fox, named more than once the most desirable woman on Earth. And that’s the kind of league my ex-coworker Mandy wanted to be in.

The answer, that Mandy found rather the hard way, lay in the fact that those go through the strenuous workouts, immediately replenish their muscles with protein supplements.

Also, immediately after a serious fitness session, any nutrient intake will be most readily accepted by the body in the most natural way. In other words, you have the advantage that the supplements will be digested quickly and act upon your muscle tissues for an optimum growth.

A number of other agents can also be helpful in getting your protein supplement to the best advantage. For instance, Mandy would imbibe simple carbohydrates from dextrose drinks, which literally act as a catalyst in getting the proteins into your muscles.

While protein supplements are a great way to shape in gorgeous shape, they are also the key to maintaining high levels of energy, Mandy used to say.

Kathleen Tesori to Highlight Health Benefits of Rumbi

Celebrity fitness spokesperson Kathleen Tesori has teamed up with Rumbi Island Grill, the fast-casual restaurant chain in a move to promote the healthy benefits of the restaurant’s menu offerings.

Tesori, 23, a Utah-native, is serious about spreading the word about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, and feels strongly about practicing what she preaches.

Rumbi Island Grill, which now has 23 restaurants in operation in Utah, Colorado and Arizona, offers a menu which includes fresh gourmet rice bowls, crisp salads, soup, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees.

Tesori and Rumbi are focusing on finding different ways to collaborate on educating the public on how they can eat healthy at Rumbi Island Grill. Providing information on current menu items, contests, and new menu ideas, are some of the ways they are looking to create a buzz about eating healthy at Rumbi.

Wynonna Judd to Campaign for Alli Weight Loss Pills

American country superstar Wynonna Judd, who’s been on Alli’s over-the-counter weight loss pill since September, is apparently motivated enough to sign up as the spokesperson for the brand.

“This is about me picking something that I know works for me,” said Judd, 44, about the FDA-approved drug. “I can still plan [my work] and not feel like Alli is dictating my life as I have in the past on other programs.”

Judd clearly intends to be an inspiration for her fans as well as those who are battling weight, and sends the message that she’s been there.

“I hope people will be inspired by the fact that I’ve overcome a lot, I’m still here and it’s a miracle,” she added. “I don’t have diet goals. My goals are to live as happy and healthy as I can. People can see themselves in me and say, ‘You know what? If she can do it, I can do it.’ ”

So if you’re already struggling with your lose-50-lbs-by-June New Year resolution, don’t lose heart. Wynonna’s commercials might just reinvigorate your program.

Rachel Hunter Believes in Hips

Former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Rachel Hunter is the new face of weight-loss brand Slim-Fast.

The company has announced that Hunter, 37, will appear as part of a campaign called “Find your Slim,” which features women representing “real body shapes and sizes with messages such as, ‘We believe in hips, not hip bones’”.

“I have always tried to be my own person and live up to my own definition of an ideal size that feels right for me and for my body. When I heard about the ‘Find your Slim’ campaign, I thought it was refreshing for a weight loss company to deliver a message that was empowering—it’s freeing to be encouraged to set and achieve your own personal weight loss goal,” said Hunter. “That was a message I wanted to help spread.”

However, Contactmusic.com reports that when the 37-year old ex-wife of rock star Rod Stewart was was approached for the campaign, she said, “Wow, what’s wrong with me? Do I look fat?”

Well, looking at Rachel’s SI pictures, I’m kinda starting to believe in hips, too.
