Former adult star Jenna Jameson has a soft corner for animals–apparently she doesn’t want to see them hurt by ‘too much sex’, as she proclaims in her nude ad for PETA.
“Sometimes too much sex can be a bad thing,” Jenna says in the ad. “Help millions of unwanted animals from being born each year. Have your cats and dogs spayed or neutered today.”
One version of the PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal) ad, which was shot a couple of months ago in New York, shows her dog Chester by her side.
“Until dogs and cats can go on the pill or wear condoms, we need to help them practice safe sex — by spaying and neutering,” Jenna told WENN. “Millions of homeless animals are turned in to shelters every year because there simply aren’t enough good homes for them all. The answer is easy as ABC: animal birth control, which means get Fido and Fluffy fixed!”
Now, isn’t PETA all about preventing cruelty to animals? So how come they’re advising neutering? While any form of putting your pet under the knife can be considered inhumane, neutering falls in the same category since it’s against the very law of Nature. It’s like killing a basic, natural instinct. Isn’t that a form of mutilation too? I hear some animals, when neutered, may lose their very will to live.
PETA, are you listening?
