Stuart Weitzman, designer of the international, high-end shoe company Stuart Weitzman, continues to recognize September as the Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and is conducting the annual celebrity shoe action.
For September 2008, the eighth annual celebrity shoe auction, more than two dozen Hollywood celebrities designed shoes. Proceeds from the auction will support the work of Dr. Marsha Moses of the Folkman Institute at Children’s Hospital Boston, who are working to develop a urine test for ovarian cancer.
Here’s my list of top 10 funkiest designs by celebrities, together with the starting bids. All celebs have signed the sole of the shoe and included a photo of themselves. The auction runs through September.
