It’s the face that launched a thousand handbags, make-up kits and ready-to-wear. It’s that special something about the face that stops you and makes you look. Beautiful, elegant, non-chalant. It’s a face that demands — and gets — a second look. And a third look. It’s the face of Kate Moss.
You then notice the dress. It matches her loveliness, her style. It has her signature all over it. It’s a dress designed by Kate Moss — the shape, the color, the fabric. The fashion model has been wearing dresses for others all the time, but now it’s her own. The new Kate Moss Topshop Collection.
And then you want that dress. Why not? The collection will be launched in select Topshop stores on May 1, 2007.
Topshop chief Philip Green appears to have made a smart move with Moss. She is a global brand, heading campaigns for Burberry, Longchamp, Calvin Klein and Versace. Topshop wants a piece of the cake — or Kate — as well. And so far as the Rule Number One of successful celebrity fashion-line — that is, credibility — goes, Kate has it in abundance.
And Green is also confident that Kate will be by his side as he plans storming the US with the collection. Her presence is something vital to get the American fashion fads to get their skates on.
