Supermodel Christy Turlington continues to grow from strength to strength, starting from representing Chanel’s East-West Bag earlier this year to being the face of Escada’s Fall/Winter 2008 collections advertising.
“Christy as a ‘classic supermodel’ is trans-generational and, therefore, meaningful to many women of all ages. Escada is also trans-generational and therefore Christy is a perfect match for our campaign,” said Jean-Marc Loubier, CEO of Escada. “Escadais currently building the character of the brand and we needed someone whose face would not merely be a façade for Escada but rather also someone with a personality matching that which we wish to communicate to the customer.”
Turlington, 39, while being a superlative model, is also a successful businesswoman, owning two barnds — Sundari, her Ayurvedic beauty range and Nuala, her yoga clothing range.
