British “It” girl Daisy Lowe is the new face of Marc by Marc Jacobs fashion line.
American designer Marc Jacobs, currently the creative director of French design house Louis Vuitton, is reported to have admitted that he chose the “trendy girl in town” because he thought “she looks adorable.” Model Raquel Zimmerman will feature in Jacobs’ women’s Collection ads for spring.
Meanwhile, Lowe, just 19 years old, has established a name for herself in the fashion world, having modeled for Chanel, Agent Provocateur lingerie, Burberry, Ben Sherman and Whistles, among others. She’s been quoted: “Modeling is a cool outlet for me to express myself, and fashion has always fascinated me. I love that fashion crosses into my other passions – music and art.”
