American model and stylist Erin Wasson is set to kick off Fashion Week with her debut collection of Erin Wasson X RVCA clothing.
The 26-year-old model-turned designer has signed a three-year deal to design a collection for RVCA, which will start with a 2009 Spring collection. The line will include low cut tanks to frayed denim tops in the price range of $55-$230. Insiders hint that more designs in cotton tops, denim, miniskirts, and blazers are in the offing.
“I’m going to get my rocks off seeing girls in California skating around wearing my clothes more than I think I will seeing it in the fashion world,” said Wasson.
Wasson’s 16-piece capsule collection is expected to hit stores in January, along with her favorite “lightning-bolt print top”, called simply the Zeppelin.
