Gorgeous “It” girl of fashion, Jourdan Dunn has started ooff with her hottest ad campaign to date — the face of Topshop’s autumn/winter 2008-09.
The 19-year-old British model has posed for the fashion line alongside Karlie Kloss and Canadian models Kori Richardson and Amanda Laine.
“Topshop on the move” was the theme for the campaign which was shot on buses and Tube trains across London. Apparently that was exactly what Ronnie Cooke-Newhouse, Topshop’s creative director, wanted.
“We wanted the campaign to have a very London vibe, sticking to Topshop’s roots. And Topshop girls are movers and shakers – super-stylish, cool girls,” she said. “Jourdan is so lovely. An angel, she is very focused and professional – she’s really got it.”
Jourdan, who was talent-spotted in the Hammersmith branch of Primark has shot in with the big players since being signed to agency Storm less than two years ago.
She has done over 75 catwalks, including couture shows for Carolina Herrera, Christian Dior, and Chanel, and has also been the face of Gap and Benetton.
The June 2008 issue of Italian Vogue also saw her on the cover, which was yet another milestone for Jourdan.
