“Clean, pure and simple all-American” Kate Bosworth has been tapped to front Calvin Klein in its spring jeans ad campaign.

“”Kate’s look is quintessential Calvin Klein,” said Tom Murray, Calvin Klein, Inc.’s president and COO. Photographer David Sims shot the creative for the campaign expected to be launched in 35 countries worldwide next month.

Kevin Carrigan, creative director of Calvin Klein, added, “Kate is a true American beauty. Her purity of style and sensuality are a perfect match for the natural, clean modernity of the Calvin Klein Jeans line. Pairing her with Garrett, whose statuesque, masculine American look perfectly represents the direction of the Spring 2008 offering, will make for a natural, dynamic, sexy campaign.”

Bosworth, 25, said she felt honored to represent the American fashion house. “To be featured in a Calvin Klein Jeans campaign, with its history of iconic imagery, is very exciting for me,” said the ‘Blue Crush’ (2002) star.

The petite stunner is currently shooting for ‘21′ with Kevin Spacey.
