Former “Lost” star Michelle Rodriguez is on the verge of being discovered for her fashion designs–the Latina star has announced the launch of her new clothing line.
Michelle’s fashion line named Ishkadada is supposedly inspired by world cultures. The would-be fashionista plans to travel to a dozen countries, including China and Brazil, to “study people, social classes, history, culture” before finishing her designs.
“The company that I want to start should be ethnic,” Rodriguez, 29, who grew up in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, said in Spanish. “I think there is a growing awareness and people are opening their eyes about the world and the environment.”
The sultry actress said she hoped her travels would also help her understand the potential market for her line, which would be “personality driven.”
What about her acting career? Reports indicate that Michelle will continue her acting career and is in talks with producers about appearing in a possible movie.
Rodriguez starred in one season of the ABC television series “Lost.” Some of us will also recall that last year she spent time for violating probation terms after getting arrested for drunken driving in Hawaii.
