Recently voted the celebrity with the sexiest stomach, Rihanna plans to extend her sexiness to a new fashion line.
The Barbadian singer is not completely in unknown territory, as she previously teamed up with retail chain H&M to design a range of casualwear as part of the Fashion Against Aids campaign. But now, Rihanna is definitely on to something bigger than hoodies and T-shirts.
Following in the footsteps of fellow pop star Gwen Stefani and launch her own clothing range won’t come easy for Rihanna, 20.
But Sojones.com Hip-hop clothing site founder Rodrick Rainey thinks she’s got the right ingredients to make it big.
“Rihanna is the new truth. She cut her hair and I knew 5 girls from at least 3 places that asked me if I thought they would look good with her punk-style haircut. She’s the new leader of today’s trendy generations hands down. She reaches all people with no separation. This clothing line will be major is the brand name is right,” said Rainey.
Even if the Disturbia singer wouldn’t commit when her line would be released, Rainey estimates the line to launch in time for the 2008 Christmas holiday or at the next MAGIC fashion convention.
