Amidst the strength-gathering news of her wedding to DJ girlfriend Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan found time to celebrate her October 2008 cover of Marie Claire magazine at a bash in New York.

The event was hosted to honor Lindsay and Project Runway star Nina Garcia, who has taken up a new role as the magazine’s fashion director.

“I don’t think it’s the first time I’ve been very open in an article — I always try to be,” Lindsay said about her interview with Marie Claire. “I’m a very honest person. I hope people take it for what it is, it’s just me talking.”
