French actress and model Laetitia Casta has been announced as the face of Notorious, the latest women’s fragrance from Ralph Lauren.

Notorious debuts in the U.S. with a print campaign photographed Michael Thompson, plus a Notorious commercial, directed by Hong Kong-based filmmaker Wong Kar-wai.

“My work has made me famous. My life has made me notorious,” says Casta on Ralph Lauren website.

Casta was hand-selected to embody the sexy, intriguing Notorious woman, whose image was inspired by the iconic actresses of the golden era of Hollywood film.

“Laetitia’s glamour, daring and powerful femininity make her the perfect face for this seductive fragrance,” said Guillaume de Lesquen, President, Worldwide, Ralph Lauren Fragrances. “She is classically beautiful, but lives her life in a completely modern way. Laetitia is Notorious.”

As a model, 30-year-old Laetitia has made the covers of over 100 fashion magazines worldwide, and as an actress, enjoyed glory in several French box-office hits. In 2000, the Association of the Mayors of France chose her as the new Marianne in 2000, one of France’s highest honors.

Notorious, available as spray, body lotion and shower gel, will be available in top departmental stores nationwide.
