Hollywood star James Franco has been confirmed as the face of Gucci’s new fragrance for men.
Are we seeing a spurt in male celebrities endorsing colognes? Off hand, I can recall Justin Timberlake’s agenda with Givenchy and Patrick Dempsey’s with Avon.
Franco, 29, known for his role of Harry Osborne in the Spider-Man series, is following the parade of Gucci girls who have previously endorsed Gucci perfumes for women, including Raquel Zimmerman, Natasha Poly and Freja Beha Erichsen.
The male version of the perfume, which again has been developed by the Prestige Products division of Procter & Gamble, is set to hit the stores this autumn.

Millions of women can’t wait to get a whiff of this new Gucci scent just to see if it matches up with Franco’s fine looks! I wish they’d give us a clue as to the scent! Is it spicy? Woodsy? Fresh sea breezy? I guess we’ll all have to wait for fall! Then we’ll be eyeing Franco all over the place with his gorgeous mug plastered on billboards & ads for the stuff!
