Alison Carroll, the new face of the hugely popular video game Lara Croft, hopes playing the sexiest heroine there is will get her more dates.
Carroll is all set for a skyrocket jump from current job as a receptionist at a golf club to the world of celebrities as she readies herself to take over as the new archaeologist and action heroine. She now joins Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie and model Nell McAndrew to become the new Lara Croft.
The super-fit girl from Croydon, a former gymnast, said she enjoys an active life.
“I train six days a week. I’m very adventurous,” says Carroll, 23. “I felt so good pulling on the costume for the first time. So confident and in control. I really felt like an action heroine.”
The pretty brunette is still single, but looking to mingling. “I’m not looking for a long-term relationship, but playing Lara Croft, the sexiest game heroine there is, should get me a few more dates!”
As part of her training for her new gig, Carroll will immediately start taking courses in SAS survival, combat and semi-automatic weapon firing in Eastern Europe, as well as a crash course in world archaeology.
