Bond star Daniel Craig has been named Britain’s best dressed man by men’s style bible GQ in its annual roll of stylish celebrities.
Craig topped the league thanks to his sharp-suited look in Casino Royale.
“No Bond since Sean Connery has worn it better. It works because the 007 uniform seems like an upgrade of what Craig would naturally wear,” GQ said.
The 39-year-old actor gained worldwide sex-symbol status when he walked out from the sea as James Bond in Casino Royale wearing a pair of tight pale blue trunks. It now appears the stylish Bond actor has been impressing male fans with his taste in dressing as well.
If you’re wondering about more on Bond’s brands, he wears dark blue trousers, a Sea Island cotton shirt in white or dark blue. On the golf course you can see him in Saxone golf shoes. I’ll try and post some of Daniel Craig’s choices here soon.
Tory leader David Cameron, who was second, was praised by the magazine praised him as “a politician who understands the news agenda is set as much by appearance as it is by words”.
Prince Harry is the first royal to make it into the top 10. Mulberry’s creative director Stuart Vevers dubbed his look “modern and classic with a hint of rock ‘n’ roll”. He came 21 places ahead of brother William.
