Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is all set to take Kingisher Airlines to new heights.
Liquor baron and Chairman and CEO, Kingfisher Airlines, Dr Vijay Mallya said that the appointment of Padukone as its new face was yet another step in strengthening the understanding about the needs and aspirations of consumers in India. (Model and Bollywood starlet Yana Gupta promoted the airline during its launch phase.)
“Kingfisher Airlines in the short span of 29 months has firmly established itself as a market leader while setting new service benchmarks. Deepika Padukone, the Kingfisher Airlines Brand Ambassador, personifies the brand values of Kingfisher Airlines and what it stands for,” Dr Mallya added. “We feel the need to have a face for Kingfisher Airlines that reflects the young, prosperous India. We want to be more customer responsive. That is why we have chosen Deepika Padukone as our brand ambassador.”

Padukone’s debut Hindi film debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan ‘Om Shanti Om’ is slated for a worldwide release tomorrow.
