Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone have been featured in a commercial promoting the new Volkswagen Gol.
The spot which reportedly cost US$5 million to make was directed by Brazilian Andrucha Waddington and features the new car in several 007-style chase sequences. And Gisele comes on and off, with the narration which she does in style in her native Portuguese. If you understand the language, you might appreciate the car (and Gisele;) better.
At the end, the Gol pulls up to Gisele, the driver gets out (why is not sweating?), and – lo! – it’s Stallone, who says something in Portuguese.
No wonder Patriot’s quarterback Tom Brady’s girlfriend is the world’s richest supermodel at $35 million in earnings last year–Gisele Bundchen was paid $2.5m for the VW commercial, while Sylvester Stallone had to be be content with only $800,000.
