The latest installment of the James Bond franchise now filming in London will see Olga Kurylenko cast as the ‘Bond girl.’
The producers of the 22nd Bond film, which has a working title of “Bond 22″, Columbia Pictures and MGM, said that British newcomer Gemma Arterton, 21, and Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko, 28, have been cast as the two female leads. Arterton will play Agent Fields in the Marc Forster-directed movie, while Kurylenko is cast as Bond’s love interest.

“Bond 22″, which will take up where “Casino Royale” left off, is scheduled for a November release and Kurylenko will be playing the “the dangerously alluring Camille, who challenges Bond and helps him come to terms with the emotional consequences of Vesper’s betrayal.”
The Ukrainian bombshell joins a long list of leading ladies to be cast alongside the super spy including Ursula Andress in “Dr No,” Halle Berry, Kim Basinger and most recently Eva Green in “Casino Royale,” which grossed $600 million in the box office.
Details of Arterton’s character are not immediately available, but a source said “it’s a nice-sized role.”
The latest movie in a series that dates back to 1962’s “Dr. No” will of course star Daniel Craig as the man with the “license to kill.”
